Just Touched Down in London Town/ Rooftop Playing at the Met

Hi Friends, Family, and Rams,
As the post suggests, I have successfully planted my feet in London. I made a 50 year old best friend on the plane. He is a flight attendant and lives on a boat house on the edge of London. Liam invited me to come have a cup 'o tea and dinner at his estate with him. Liam is a retired chef and absolutely fabulous, so to say my introduction to London was outstanding is to say the least.

I will get to all the hot London details, but first, I need to rave about my 36 hour love affair with NYC. All of my friends had real lives and school, thus I found myself lost in translation admit the City I love to dearly. I dreamed to one day visit the rooftop garden at the Met, which proudly I did this year. In preparation for traveling to a foreign country, I made a stab at taking on the role by pretending I was exotic and from Brazil. The one lady I asked directions for spoke Portuguese, so I quickly receded back to my proud American self.

The garden beat my wildest expectations. The architects carefully layered each glass panel and greenery to project images which created a masterpiece. The reflections of the skyscrapers with the green backdrop made me drool.

Urban gardening makes my feel some type of way
